My wife and I were on vacation at a nearby campground and in need of a good massage. We went to The Salt Barn in Smyrna, TN. We were greeted by Jodi,who checked us in, while Mary was in and out of the reception area tending to her clients receiving the foot detox soak. Both were very friendly and accommodating. Our massages were scheduled with Kristen, who is a very talented licensed massage therapist . She took the time to discuss any problem areas we had that needed special attention. During the massage, she took special care and extra time with my hands and ankles as were discussed prior to my massage.. At the end of my massage, Kristen took the time to offer suggestions on how to stretch and massage my ankles and hands between visits. I will request Kristen next time and highly recommend her . My wife and I were extremely impressed by the superb customer service and the attention to detail that was given by the staff at the Salt Barn. It has a beautiful and calming atmosphere, and the ladies and business are first class.
The salt cave was wonderful. Very relaxing and peaceful. I highly recommend it. But, the service was really bad. We were first time attendees, new to this whole thing. Nothing was explained, nothing. We asked about our belongings and were told to read a sign on the wall. It was cold, but there were no blankets. It kinda ruined the whole experience because we had no clue to what to do or where stuff was.
Just go here. Days later still feel great after the massage. The therapist will work with you to figure out the best way to handle your problems. Just tried the float tank and it was life changing. From front door receptionist to the people working there, it was a great experience.
Very nice experience !! Salt cave and floating tub are very cool. The lady did charge me 10 dollars over what I was suppose to be charged. But other than that everything was great!! Would definitely come back.
The staff was great!!! They made me feel at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I enjoyed it all(salt cave, ionic foot bath, massage) and when i left i felt so relaxed. The ionic foot bath really helped relieve the pain in my shoulder and knee. I can't wait to come back for my next one. Thanks ladies!!!!!
