I moved here at the beginning of the year and I had never been to a Cook Out before. As someone who's first job was at a fast food chain I didn't have any high expectations. That's why I was amazed that no matter the time, day or night, our food comes out hot, fresh, and quickly. The other thing that constantly impresses me is how consistently the orders are made correctly. No other fast food spots have ever had that record for me. The staff are always very pleasant and efficient. I had a nice chat with the GM about how well his staff did one day- he was also incredibly kind. When a business is run well it starts at the top with good leadership and examples set, as well as the dedication and hard work of the employees who keep it going smoothly. Thanks for being reliable!
If it were possible that this cookout was run entirely by the blind and deaf, they still couldn't possibly screw up orders as frequently and completely as they seem to. I've been a dozen times because my wife likes their onion rings, but not once has the order been correct. If you're going to ignore advice to go elsewhere, do not leave the drive through without unwrapping every single item you ordered and verifying that its correct. The receipt being correct is not enough. I've gotten other people's food a couple times, half of my order a couple times, and wild variations of my order the rest.
We love this place. Discovered it quite by accident, when our teens began working here. The owners are very respectable and kind, decent humans. Everything is made from scratch and phenomenal, taste wise. The portions are huge for the price point. Can't go wrong here, also, as there is a bit of everything. Try the fried cheese. My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE them!
