The entrance is in the right side of the building. The shop is upstairs and to the left. The whole inside is clean and professional. My friend and I had a wonderful experience. Will does amazing work. The shading and detail turned out perfect! We were thrilled to see that the tattoo looked EXACTLY how we wanted.
So I originally got a small piece from the owner Jason and it was exactly what I wanted and he took me as a walk in which was a plus. I got his number because I was planning on getting a bigger piece and reached out maybe a month later to see if he could bring my vision of my son and I’s birth flowers to life. I sent him ideas and he said he could do it and said he had free time that night. I went in that night and got what I thought would be my ideal tattoo. It looked perfect when it was freshly done but the healing process is when I got worried. Flakes of ink came out as it started to heal as if the skin was over worked and irritated from the amount of pressure applied. To be completely honest I’m a mixed girl so I believe Jason wasn’t familiar with color theory and how to tattoo any one with a little melanin. I felt like this because he went on and on about how beautiful my skin was and how excited he was to be doing this tattoo with the color. Once a few weeks had passed I expressed my concerns of where the white lines where GONE, and some spots where the ink was completely gone and others where the green ink had turned black. He told me it’s still healing and would most likely need a touch up and to reach out in a few weeks for an appointment. I waited another month and texted him and he said he would check his books and reach back out. A few days passed and I heard nothing so I texted again, this time not receiving a text back at all. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and reached back out and he this time he said he was sick. So I gave him some time and reached back out AGAIN. No text back. At this point I am getting frustrated because I am not happy at all with the tattoo. No response , no explanation, no apology. Fast forward to a couple weeks later and I called the shop and was told he was sick again so I called back the following week and he answered the phone. He told me he didn’t get my texts and apologized and told me he didn’t have his iPad to check his schedule but he would take my number down and text me when he gets home. Absolutely nothing. Very unprofessional behavior from the “owner” I had a few people ask me where I went and I had to respectfully tell them don’t waste your time with Bella Vita, they do horrible work and won’t text you back when you need a touch up. From far a way the tattoo doesn’t look bad but once you look closer it’s horrible. I am very displeased. Very sad I thought I had found my forever tattoo guy, JASON AND BELLA VITA I HOPE YOU READ THIS AND KNOW EXACTLY WHO LEFT THIS REVIEW. Very sad you treat your customers this way. I'm not gonna lie the place is awesome. Everyone is so real and nice. They're very dedicated to making sure what you get is what you want. A very talented group. Definitely enjoyed Jason, Will, and Jenn's hillarious banter. Comfortable, affordable, great quality and atmosphere. 10/10 recommend
Jason knocked it out of the park! I spoke with him and sent him a picture of what I had in mind. He drew it out identical to what I sent and also with a few changed that he thought would make it more realistic. Of corse he left it up to me to decide what I liked best. His idea looked much more in depth and realistic than the photo I sent! Needless to say, he killed it! Clean shop, great people, awesome work and down to earth pricing! I will definitely be returning for more work and highly recommending to everyone. Thanks again Jason
Great local and laid back tattoo studio with a lot of talent. The staff had me laughing the whole time with their silly banter. Def kept my mind off the pain with it being a long session. Wil was my artist and he was so patient with me. I'm a sissy when it comes to pain tolerance and he did everything he could to make it as comfortable as possible. The piece healed very well and I am super pleased with the outcome. Wil did an amazing job!!! He drew up the exact design that I wanted and was very professional. I will definitely be back. Great place. 5 stars!
