Nostalgic and sweet memories. Came here many times in 2020/2021 when we lived close. You can see how much passion, effort, and love went into this ice cream shop. The warm smiles and kindness from the employees. They have the BEST small batch homemade ice cream. You surely must make it a stop on your next todo list. The campfire flavor has been my favorite for years. As well as their award winning double chocolate ice cream. Be sure to try the homemade sweet treats, too! We discovered a delightful small-batch ice-cream shop in downtown Smyra Friday night and definitely plan to go back. Janarty's makes 80 flavors of ice cream in-house, and have 8 of these flavors available each day, including gluten-free icecreams, and even a dairy free icecream option. They also have gluten-free brownies, cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, Rice Krispy Treats, Fudge, and other delights. We had a Kid's Scoop (1 scoop) of Oreo Mint in a cup and a 2 scoop of Double Chocolate in a waffle cone. Both were creamy and delicious.
Found a little gem that serves the most delicious homemade ice cream, best I’ve had so far! The chocolate pudding had such a rich, velvety and amazing flavor! The place is such a cute family friendly, full of little pieces of art and drawings on the walls making it very homy and reflecting its family owned spirit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Went in on a whim last night while visiting the area with my family. It happened to be their anniversary party. With live music playing. SO MUCH FUN! the ice cream was phenomenal and the staff was so attentive and kind. I was in the shop for about 45 minutes eating my sweet potato ice cream and listening to music, I watched the staff clean the place nonstop! Beyond impressed, 100% the BEST ice cream anywhere!
the ice cream here is phenomenal and the waffle cone in the cup was so smart for people who like it but don't want it dripping down their hand. a place i could never forget and takes my number one spot for best ice cream place. their other desserts are also great such as rice krispie treats and brownies.
