This business would only except cash only. I run a business and our bookkeeping is done with a check for honest and safe practice. I told the owner I can get him a cashier’s check which is the same as cash but he wouldn’t except that either. I question whether or not he is claiming all his income and taking cash for the purpose of tax evasion. I understand individuals should pay by credit card or cashier’s check in order to avoid bouncing checks but reputable businesses not be trusted , come on.. I will never use this tow company again. He also wanted to charge 5% fee if paid by credit card and that is too high. If he can’t trust my business I can’t trust his.
Firm hours 9AM-5PM MON-FRI. Was told we would be contacted later in the day(Saturday) nobody ever contacted us back and nobody came in Sunday so we were at a loss until someone else was there Monday. Definitely not a towing service that will "work with you". I would give them 0 stars if i could. They didn't help us at all when though the car was picked up on a Friday @6 they didn't give us a chance to get the stuff until Monday.
They drive in circles around Florence Commons waiting for someone to slip up and park on the street. They towed my mothers truck at 5am, I called at 6:30am the man I spoke to claimed to be the owner. I was simply asking for the address and telling him I needed the truck back asap I will be on the way. He was very unprofessional by hanging the phone up on me after giving me the address and then stating “you need to bring $250 CASH ONLY and make sure you have proof this is your vehicle” then CLICK* THE OWNER HUNG UP ON ME MID CONVERSATION!!! I called back and said did you hang up on me? He stayed “I don’t deal with smart mouth little girls” ….. I’m confused as to why it has to be CASH only? Why are they so rude? Is this not considered highway robbery???
On Sunday morning, I put in a roadside assistance request with my insurance provider. Southern Belle received the request and called me within minutes of receipt. I was told that they would arrive within 20 minutes. James and Melodie arrived under the estimated time. I was very impressed with their fast and prompt service. They were friendly and professional. The whole process was smooth and easy. I have dealt with other towing companies where we had terrible service. The last time I had to request roadside assistance with AAA, the tow truck did not arrive to pick up our vehicle until 8 hours later. Getting service in under 30 minutes was a drastic difference. I had a great experience. I highly recommend Southern Belle!
This company needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY They stalk the neighborhood here at Lee Crossings, looking for cars to tow ALL THE TIME. It's disgusting, despicable, and unreasonable for people to get out of their cars for 5 minutes to find their cars are gone. To then struggle to find $250 to pay the tow fee and then have to find someone to take you to pick up the damn car. It's sad that people are constantly afraid for their property being stolen, while they drive around like sharks looking for the next victim.
